The light bar itself deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, the cable was enough to give this rating three stars. At a low price this is a fantastic light bar. It's bright enough during the day and offers exceptional visibility for its size and price. I've tried several models and this one far outshines them all at around $40. However, the spiral cable is useless. If you have an extension you still can't use the on/off/mode button and also have coils running on the roof. Had they used about 9ft of flat cable it would have been a solid 5 stars. The downside was that it required plugging in a cable and/or using an extension cord, rendering the function key unusable. While I would order more of these if needed, simply because of the low cost, the manufacturer should consider a simple fix.
