Edit: This charges my Android horribly which uses a USB-C charger. I thought maybe it was the cable and not the hub - while my phone was on the charging hub it went from 17% to 13% in a matter of minutes. So I ordered a new charging cable to use with it. A small improvement, but very little. I plugged it in at 3:30pm with 47% charge and now it's 3:41pm with 48% charge! The new cable was expensive and designed for fast charging. It works great when I plug it into the wall instead of a charging hub. Micro USB cables only charge as expected when I use the USB-C cable Original: Love it. That's convenient. I have 5 toddlers, all 5 have small toddler pills. I could only charge 3 at a time in the tablet charging area in my house (and I couldn't charge them anywhere else in the house because the kids would mess with them, it's the only place in the house where they couldn't reach outlets) . This was a huge benefit as I can now charge all 5 tablets at the same time as well as my phone and Kindle. The strings coming out make it look like a spider crab or something and it gets messy if they get tangled. But that's a small price to pay for being able to charge 7 devices at the same time. I've never owned a multiport charging hub, so I can't comment on charging speeds. Although it seems to charge at a decent price. My phone usually tells me that it charges slower when I use an inferior charger with less current and it doesn't tell me when I connect it to this one.
