They are too coarse to use. Instead of exfoliating, they more or less scratch the skin. Even if you turn them over to use the soft side, the end of the small pad still has rough edges that will scratch your face. While that's a good idea, it would be better to use a very soft washcloth and exfoliate in some other way.
