I wanted to start quilting so I bought this walking foot as a trial run, not the most expensive but definitely strong enough to quilt a 30X36 inch quilt. Not as much. The pin kept popping out and I had to stop my project to put it back in. Because it was a kind of purchase, "don't overspend until you see if you like it". I can't really complain. If you're looking for a replacement and you're quilting a lot, remember you get what you pay for.
