16 strands is too thick for recreational arrows
Very well made bow string. 16 strands makes it a little too thick for recreational arrows to fit on easily. That was fine to my own ignorance, but it was also not readily apparent. The arrows will fit, but it takes some force. If you are just shooting cheap arrows at targets in your back yard, get fewer strands than 16.
- Reduces hand shock and bow jump
- May not hold up well under heavy use
