We received this sleeping bag after our little daughter, who was almost 5 months old, went for a fast ride in her Magic Merlin. She is very active and we knew we had to try to convert her to a regular sleeping bag and thought that would be a good option. Unfortunately we tried this many times over the course of a month and she was waking up every hour during the night and not at all satisfied with sleep. It's a nice fabric and now works with the normal twist of the sleeping bag. For the price I would say just buy regular sleeping bags as with a weighted center it doesn't matter. This is a soft, breathable fabric appropriate for Pennsylvania spring/summer. For the record, our little girl is now almost 7 months old, weighs 15.5 pounds and is 27 inches long, skinny and active. This works just like traditional Halo sleeping bags and there is no need for the Nested Beans price tag.
