Updated 12/23/2020: I received an email from the supplier with an evaluation and a desire to solve the problem. It was completely unexpected. In the email correspondence was given me the opportunity I decided to return it. First of all, the email correspondence was clear and informative. As it was an email from an email I was not familiar with, I had to check them for clues check for phishing - misspellings wording, misaligned spacing and typos.. It passed my visual check and I responded. Responses came within a day. Decision was made almost immediately after I emailed my decision. I received an email reply with three gift card codes to cover the cost.***That's why I opted for a refund instead of a replacement product n. I think if I wasn't working from home and didn't need a reliable printer, I would have taken the risk of replacing the toner cartridges. The email stated that HP would release firmware updates that would invalidate toner cartridges. You mentioned it and now the chips conform to printer specs for communication. BUT what worries me is that they work fine for a few months, then a new firmware update comes out and the communication drops. *** Overall, I really appreciate the customer service and quick response to feedback and resolution of the issue. I have changed the rating to 4 stars for their customer service and solution. I understand that firmware updates and compatibility issues are beyond their control until a code rewrite release is made. Thank you for being ahead of the curve and offering solutions. Waste of money for these cartridges. Bought in May before cartridges needed replacing. Months later they finally changed and they seemed to work for the first few print jobs, then a delivery error occurred. I unplugged and reinstalled them and the system does not reset the power error.
