For the first month we used it for a few hours almost every night and it worked really well. An interesting added touch was the 'mood' lighting provided by the LED bulb in the base. But now that we've had it for a while and have used it for at least 100 hours, the light no longer changes smoothly from color to color; switches quickly and jerkily, some colors don't even light up in time. The construction for gas stations is also somewhat cumbersome. Every time we lift the tank to fill it, we get water EVERYWHERE. Replacing a full tank at the base has the same effect. If you don't align it perfectly when you put it on the base, you'll flood it. We haven't had any electrocution yet, but this design flaw worries me. A big plus: energy efficiency. Our electricity bills haven't increased significantly since we started.
