I had this case for my S8 a few years ago but unfortunately I had to replace it because part of the phone case is cracked and brittle. Telephone I was so upset as it was my favorite case so far. Fast forward a few years, I got the S21 and saw FYY advocate for it so I decided to give it a try. If they use the same plastic I would just send it back, much to my luck it has been updated. The exterior is made from the same durable leather as the previous one, but the plastic part that holds the phone is a more flexible TPU material, which will give and flex a bit unlike the previous hard plastic. I am very satisfied with the original quality and material updates.
