I like bags that have enough structure to stand on their own and I wanted a medium sized bag. This bag looked very cute though. Pictures on the internet don't show the scale very well. In any case, the bag arrived quickly in a protective cloth sleeve. I was pleasantly surprised at how great this bag is and how well made it is. I love the textured emblem - it really enhances the bag! I didn't realize from the photos that the handles are metal - a solid and comfortable feel that also looks elegant and unique. The leather is satisfyingly thick, with strong stitching and a clean finish, allowing the stitching to be part of the bag's beauty. The case is sturdy, fits a Kindle but not an iPad, is roomy and fits all my stuff I just tossed in, but makes a great wallet organizer. The bag does NOT have an odd smell - I'm embarrassed to even mention it, but I've had more than my fair share of smelly bags that I've tried that looked good online but smelled like a chemical spill in my house. I look forward to many years with this reasonably priced bag. If I were to sell it I would recommend repeating the photos, I almost didn't buy it because the lighting and staging don't really suit the bag. Later I will try to supplement the review with photos.
