It works great with the new 2018 iPad Pro 11-inch

one review, but when I picked up my iPad Pro 11' the first day Apple released it, there wasn't much to choose from. When looking at the first batch of cases for this new iPad looks like they've been split into two categories: those that cover the entire iPad and cover the sides of the device, and those that work by attaching the back of the iPad to the case with magnets The main benefit of the magnetic solution is that the top of the device keeps the iPad open for storing and charging the Apple Pencil. The downside is that you get less protection than a fully closed back cover that protects the sides of the device.I didn't planning to buy a pencil but I had another reason to go for a magnet case I am also planning to buy a Smart Folio Keyboard from Apple Keyboard, or at least some kind of keyboard case, and I needed a case that would attach and detach an iPad very easily. all requirements met. I could have just used the Keyboard Folio as my only case, but when I tried to open and hold the cover, the keys felt very bulky and uncomfortable. I don't think the Keyboard Folio is perfect for just holding an iPad while reading or browsing the web. It really should only be used when tapping on it, or at least propping up an iPad on a flat surface. After using the ESR case for about an hour, I can say that this case definitely does the job. The iPad attaches quickly to the back of the case and the magnets ensure perfect alignment with no effort. The front cover wakes/sleeps the iPad correctly when opened and closed. The sides of the device are only slightly larger than those of the iPad and offer adequate protection (at least the protection that this type of case offers). And the camera cutout is right where it should be. This case is very similar to Apple's Signature Folio, which sells for $79, and as far as I can tell the quality is pretty much the same, although I haven't tried mounting the two side-by-side. I'd say this is a great case if you're planning on using an Apple Pencil with your iPad and don't mind the sides of your iPad being exposed. The front cover folds easily as stated to create a stable stand. The material feels nice, soft like rubber, and the inside looks like a typical microfiber screen protector. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I hope this was helpful for new iPad Pro owners!

Pros
  • MAGNETIC HOLDER - Strong built-in magnets ensure a secure fit between the case and the iPad.
Cons
  • Loads of stuff
