Review on Chic Home Cipriana Comforter Jacquard by Daron Ellis

I ordered red for our guest bedroom and would like to give this bedding set 5 stars because it is really nice and well made. However, when we removed the clear plastic case, we found a few small snags. I suspect the binding was caused by the embroidery rubbing against the jacquard during shipping. One of the Euroshams was also injured while being wrapped in a blanket. The intrusion is more noticeable in direct sunlight, but almost invisible to the eye with just the guest room lights on and the blinds closed. We will not be returning to Revain as we do not sleep on or under our duvets or allow guests to sleep nor use decorative pillows to sleep on. Our bedding sets are for aesthetics only. If you don't mind the hooks then we recommend 100% because it's really pretty and the embroidery details are divine. I also ordered gray (which was $80 more expensive than red) for our master bedroom but returned because we have a small dog and don't want to risk accidental tears. I don't think the jacquard material is practical if you have a cat or dog. Also, it's not a light blanket, but it's not very heavy either. I prefer a heavier, bulkier duvet. In general, we are satisfied with the Chic Home brand. Let's order an Aubrey for our host and hope he doesn't catch on like Ciprian. Hope this review is helpful!
