Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Blue Night Light Plug-in - Dusk to Dawn Sensor, Energy Efficient Soft Glow - 2 Pack by Danielle Roberts

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Flicker-tastic is the best in lighting and ceiling fans

First, I REALLY wanted them to like it. If I were to tell a therapist how I recently bought a new set of night lights to replace all the old mismatched ones I had accumulated from scratch over the years and how much I looked forward to being able to sleep in looking my apartment see how it's pleasantly lit, combining the night lights with a sense of pride and accomplishment - like I've painstakingly handcrafted each one over months rather than pushing a button on a Revain and having it the next day to get. โ€“ they would probably prescribe hard drugs. But despite my best efforts, positive bias, and realistic expectations (when it's dark they should turn on and when it's light they should turn off), they failed brilliantly. Let's start with the positive things. of which there is basically one thing: design. Their low profile design allows you to plug something else into the same socket which is a fantastic bonus if you are so used to unplugging your night light when you need to vacuum etc. Aesthetically it is a nice design too, modern look and all. The brightness meets my expectations and the light is even. With that in mind, they shimmer like crazy when the light is even remotely "between" light and dark (see attached video). At first I thought I received a defective set because they have great reviews so I'm sure they must be good and I requested an RMA. The second set came, same problem. At this point I was a little desperate and really wanted things to please me so I requested another RMA only to run into the same issue. So now I can say with confidence that these things are simply made with an overly sensitive light sensor. In any case, the fact that they all light up continuously for about an hour at dusk, as if a small thunderstorm were brewing in my apartment, increases exponentially. More distracting and annoying than a bunch of old mismatched nightlights (which weirdly don't have that problem, old tech and all) and it was a deal breaker for me. This is all very disappointing but the reality is this is an extremely poor product that fails to perform one of the most basic functions of night lighting.
