Yes, it was a long, narrow shawl with a [notched] hole about 2/3 the length. IF the name poncho warrants it, then you could call it that. It does not look like photos and the material does not look like photos. I may have received an end piece that was mistakenly shipped as a one-piece item. I have had many ponchos and serapes my entire life, this was NOT one of them. Returned.
