This is a well made item. I bought this not only to last longer than the previous cheap version I had, but also to increase my internet speed. Unfortunately, I could not detect any increase in Internet speed. He stayed the same. My internet speed is 500/500 and I'm connected to a 4k TV so I'm not sure if this is due to the lack of a speed boost or not.
