Review on Mediabridge 12AWG Ultra Series Speaker Cable - Gold Plated Banana Tips (25 FT) - CL2 99 by Omar Thorndike

I don't really believe in the ability of cables to significantly improve the sound, $1000 for speaker cable smells like snake oil to me. I bought these cables mainly because I ran out of speaker wire and banana plugs and didn't want to buy any more. Anyway, I pulled out my existing speaker wires because they were too short for my new placement and plugged in the 12 foot Mediabridge wires. Banana plugs are a perfect match (which in my experience is not always the case) with both my Rotel built-in amp and my Wharfedale speakers. The cables are well protected by the sheath and if I had nits the hot/ground cables coming out of the sheath could be a bit longer. Anyway, I can't believe I'm saying this, but the bass has definitely improved. No questions. I have purchased Mediabridge products in the past and have found them to be very good and these speaker cables are no exception.
