We bought 8 of these lights for our new dining table light and were pleasantly surprised. They were so faint that I had to adjust the low threshold on our dimmer. I'm talking about low light at night when you can barely tell they're on. They hardly turn off even on the lowest settings. I only have one other set of dimmable LED bulbs and they don't compare in terms of dimming range or even light quality. In the future I would consider LED filament bulbs even if I don't see them. That's how great the light is, although these particular bulbs don't fit in many of the ceiling lights I have and I'm not sure these types of bulbs are rated for enclosed fixtures. We'll see how long they last, but so far it's money well spent. That's the 100 watt equivalent of an incandescent light bulb, by the way. You would pay significantly more for a true 100W LED bulb and it would be around 8.5 times brighter than this. They just aren't suitable for home use as they are so big and bright.
