I was looking for a subwoofer that would fit in a small room for a system in a small room. My system runs in 2.1 mode so I didn't buy it for home theater although I do see movement on the system. I bought a subwoofer to boost the bass from my old DCM TF-250 speakers. He does that wonderfully. I've been using it for over three weeks now. Overall I'm very happy with this subwoofer - the 8" version. I won't give any specs here. They are in the product description. The subwoofer is thin enough to fit under most sofas, behind or in front of entertainment centers. Open wall and no elephant in the room. Good amp features. Auto on/off, volume and crossover controls. Did I mention the price?. The music or soundtrack has become more impactful. My amp actively analyzes the acoustics of the room and adjusts the audio channels to match its own In my opinion best sound reproduction for the room. , even without this tool the subwoofers themselves optimize the sound. Everyone has different ears, different rooms, according to YMMV. Try this little sub on a budget.
