My husband and I have 2 cats and a dog. One of our cats doesn't like being brushed. She LOVES these gloves! She also turns to reach her stomach. Your brother likes the brush better. Her canine sister doesn't like it either. Rzhunimagu! They fit me perfectly. My husband has fairly large hands and they stretch enough to be comfortable on him too. When we're done, we collect the wool on the gloves and throw it away. There's a little left over, but it's not scary depending on how and where it's stored. My dog has a short silky soft coat. You don't hurt her. I haven't found a brush or gloves that could do anything. I haven't tried bathing her yet.
