I have been a heavy user of Degree antiperspirants for countless years. I would buy it in bulk at my favorite shopping club. I was very interested in trying AX as I use (and love) their Phoenix shower gel regularly. So two days ago I threw away my last Degree Stick and discovered the AX brand for the first time. The aroma is very subtle, but at the same time pleasant. I applied the stick to my armpits and it went on very smoothly. My biggest concern was the chalk rubbing off my clothes. Fortunately, no chalk residue from the application was found. The antiperspirant was invisible on my skin. I train 90 minutes every day and sweat a lot. I intentionally didn't shower for two days to see if the AX deodorant lived up to its advertised 48-hour lifespan. I am very pleased to report that after the first use I stayed dry and odor free for two consecutive days, including intense exercise. My final conclusion was that AX did a better job than DEGREE. However, I should point out that I've been using the same DEGREE formula for years and may have become immune to their formula. In any case, I am very happy with the AX and the sweat and odor protection it offers me. I will continue to buy it from other brands.
