It won't compete with a more expensive 5.1 sound system, but if you're looking for a clean, standalone soundbar that doesn't sound tiny then this is it. Built-in subwoofers add that extra bass that other soundbars without a subwoofer lack. I was also very surprised by the vrtx feature. It adds a pleasing soundstage that you can appreciate. It's still nowhere near as wide as a more expensive 5.1 surround system, but I definitely appreciate this soundbar's improved soundstage, especially for music. bottom line? This is for those who don't want external subwoofers and want simple, clean looks with good sound, a noticeable soundstage and ample bass at a great price.
