I bought this for my mature girlfriend. She enjoys going outside for coffee, but when it gets cooler she complains that she's cold and that her ears get so cold even when she tries to put on a regular hoodie. I bought it for her as a Christmas present. I had to give her the gift early as I won't be seeing her until after the holidays. She is very happy with it. She told me it kept her warm much better than her regular hoodie. I have a burgundy color, very beautiful. Everyone around us is happy. I didn't have to rob a bank and she's happier that she's warmer when she goes outside. We live in Texas so our winters aren't terrible, fairly mild compared to the northern part of the country. I can't tell you how warm it would be in very cold weather. Although this robe is pleasantly heavy. My boyfriend is 5'7 and slim/medium weight. I bought her an S/M and she has enough freedom of movement.
