Both sides feel like velor and are very soft. The control settings are difficult to see.
The throw is nice and gets very hot, so I lower the temperature just after it's fully heated. It is very soft and has a versatile neutral gray color. Control settings are not easy. see. The position and length of the cable makes it difficult to use if you pull too hard on the ESC. The image on the packaging shows sherpa on one side and gray velor on the other. Both sides of my blanket are gray velor and I'm very happy with it because I'm not a Sherpa fan.
