Good at first. The sound of the B&O A1 is excellent for its size. Decent bass, clear highs and mids. I replaced the Bose SoundLink Mini II with this speaker because I found the Bose bass to be over emphasized and muddy. Appearance and aesthetics are top notch. So why, you ask, am I sending the device back today? Because the connection is terrible. I've had several Bluetooth speakers and have never been more frustrated than with the A1. He rarely played for more than 10 minutes without accidentally lowering the volume and eventually shutting down completely. It's supposed to turn down the volume when the battery level drops below a certain level, but it will do the same when plugged into an AC power source. The sound was so good that I tried all sorts of troubleshooting steps: updating software, disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth several times, but it turned out to be too cumbersome. Maybe I got a bad device. I hope your experience gets better if you decide to try A1.
