This razor replaces a 4 year old Norelco whose battery no longer holds a charge. This razor provides a close shave without irritation. This is a silent shaver. The connection of the power cord to the shaver is thin and not two-pronged like other shavers; You have to be careful when connecting, otherwise you may damage the inside of the handle, which is the connector. It hasn't been long enough to know how long the internal battery lasts; hopefully longer than Norelco. But for its price, the replacement is a lot cheaper than Norelco. This is good value for money.
