Although a little big, this is exactly what you need. It's been great for all of my camping trips that we take often. Love the edges that prevent food from rolling or sliding down. I often don't use the staff at all, but place it directly on the ring of fire, which often has small metal grids built into it. They're not very big and this grill more than makes up for that. I don't miss the opportunity to turn it away from the fire on the pole as it's big enough to leave a few cold spots. But having a fishing rod when you need it is important and very useful. The product has really improved our camping and wood grilling. I definitely recommend it.
