I love, love, love this bag! For short day trips it couldn't be better! I was concerned because several other reviewers mentioned that it was almost a full backpack size. Well, maybe they were little women. I'm 5ft 9in, 200lbs and this was a medium sized wallet for me. I don't have a huge budget, so I can easily fit some snacks, a bottle of water, a spare battery, etc. I like having my hands free for certain types of travel, which is great. I can also reach out and toss my phone in my front pocket if I want to (although you may or may not want to do this depending on where you're going if you're carrying it backpack style). I had no problems with the paint peeling as another reviewer said, although I bought it in red rather than blue. All in all a great bag that has quickly become one of my favorites!
