After years of spending new scratching posts/flats with cheap fabric covers and replacing them too many times because my cat scratched just one spot and the sissal wore out, I started looking for something that didn't taking up too much space and overwhelming my living room, and which would take longer. (I used to even replace the sissal in those areas but it was very uncomfortable and I was sick of burning my fingers with hot glue LOL) This is perfect! It sits so well in the corner next to the sliding glass doors and I was surprised my cat actually likes it! Not only will she scratch, but she will jump to the top shelf and watch the birds outside! This has made a huge difference in optimizing my living room and both my cat and I are very happy with it!
