Review on πŸŒ€ High-Performance MOSTPLUS Black Universal Electric Radiator Slim Fan Push/Pull 12V + Mounting Kit (10 Inch) - Ultimate Cooling Solution! by Scott Ramu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works 24/7 for about 5 months in a non-automotive application

I use these fans to cool the radiator for industrial use. When I set it up, the fan pulled hot air through the radiator, which cooled the 140-degree Fahrenheit mineral oil. Each of them works 24/7 for about 5 months, connected to a 12 volt transformer. They're not used nearly as often in a car. I figure if I used it as a pusher rather than a puller it would last a lot longer as it wouldn't be constantly heated by the air coming through the heatsink. Installation is easy, although no instructions were included. They contain springs and spacers to keep the location of the fan and the cradle that holds the fan to the heatsink from compressing the fins too much. It is very easy to install. I tried taking the motor apart to find out what was going on, but it was welded and I chose not to open it. When I turn the anchor I hear that there is sand in the gears. When taking it apart I was very happy with the materials used. The fan appears to be fiberglass reinforced, but there was no marking. For some reason they number each fin if someone cares about it. The fan is molded with a ring around the outer perimeter to keep the fan blades rigid while rotating. The center of the fan blade, where it attaches to the armature, is cast steel to prevent the armature from loosening. Again very good quality. I revised my setup so I ride two of these, one pushing, the other pulling opposite the other. I'm hoping the increased airflow will cool my oil and thus extend the life of whoever is pulling. I will update if there are any problems. Revain has lots of them from different vendors. They are all identical, apparently made by the same company, so buy by price. I saw a $20 difference between sellers of the same item. The best deal I found was to buy two and even then a few days later a set of 2 went on sale! If you can buy them for $15 each, you're good to go. Since most cars run at 90 degrees and the fan only comes on intermittently, I expect they will last a long time, especially if you can install fans to blow cold air instead of hot air. I recommend them as very good value for money.
