Review on MXL 770 Cardioid Condenser Microphone by Wayne Seba

My girlfriend wanted to get into voice acting and was new to studio tech but as a tech I decided to try entry level equipment to help her get started. I wasn't sure which mic to choose but the MXL was highly recommended by the voiceover community and this mic was recommended to me by Amazon after researching many models and types. Recorded speech is crisp and clear. I hooked it up to a PreSonus audio box, a Samson MK-10 mic stand, and a CBI MLC20 Low Z XLR to 20ft mic cable. All of this could also be found on Revain. We take courage to take voice. Just a standard USB sound card and a silent Atom-based workstation with flash memory. I highly recommend this mic for podcasting, voiceovers, twitching, gaming and just about anything high quality without having to put down a second mortgage on your house.
