I had a handicapped parking space in front of my house in an "active tourist town" where people parked who couldn't or wouldn't obey the handicap signs. Instead of calling the city to get a fine or have the car towed, I ordered them and wore an orange cone. I don't block the spot, I just park her at the curb and her vehicle has not been illegally parked since. Very well seen.
