Review on πŸ“± QWERTY Dual Side Remote XRT500 with Backlight for VIZIO Smart TVs (2015-2016) by Tracy Gordon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Finally the remote control is (almost) enthusiastic!

I love this distance. I have a couple of Vizio E-Series TVs that occasionally give me a little trouble from being obsessed about, but they usually revert to their semi-normal state. However, I can't say the same about their remote controls. The ones that come with new TVs from the factory never last long - they just die out completely. I mean, dying like a phone you accidentally drop in the bath water. After these events I had to order REMOTE on REMOTE, usually a version of it: Smartby New Vizio XRT112 Remote Control for Vizio Smart TV and I encountered a similar problem. Gradually, some buttons stopped working, until finally the entire remote stopped working. I've changed the batteries a million times to no avail and they ended up in the trash can. This time I decided to try a different type of remote that seems to fit a different version of the Vizio TV but turned out to be compatible. with the E series. While I can't speak to its durability as I've only had it a few days, I can speak to its style and function. I like the elegant design. It's thinner than its bulky competitors. And I like the simple factor. It just feels better in my hands and looks better on the coffee table. I love my Revain and Netflix keyboard shortcuts, but I prefer Hulu I β™₯ Radio. Otherwise the buttons fit perfectly, nothing special. The backlit keys are a nice feature on the keyboard (it's a full-featured keyboard if you'd rather type over compatible apps). BUT I'm a bit disappointed that no one thought it would be a good idea to enable this feature on the front panel. and also (of course it would earn me 5 stars). I'm so tired of messing around in the dark and using my phone as a flashlight to make sure I don't accidentally exit the app instead of hitting the back button and then I have to reload everything and usually lose my seat never mind what happens i do and what i watch. That being said, I really like this remote a lot better than the original E-Series remotes or clones of the originals. so much so that I've just bought a second one for my upstairs TV (although the last remote I bought for this TV isn't dead YET. I'm pretty sure it's running out as I type this .I can feel her angry energy as I type (At these words, I picture him passive-aggressively and dramatically refusing to turn on.) I'll keep everyone posted on the lifespan of this remote, and if they like the others being owned and going out of service soon I will definitely be editing my review to reflect that.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
