I wanted to make it easier to switch between serious and casual headphones (1st World Issues). My desk is not crazy, bought it at Walmart about 10 years ago. It only sticks to the edge below the writing (because the dumb edges and accents are everywhere except on the cage and it's not high enough to hang headphones). Now there he is, holding a pair of Koss KPH30i. For more it doesn't seem to fit. So everything is fine I think. You should probably be aware that they come with twice as many screws as needed, probably because you'll tend to cut the Bejesus out of the first two because the edge of the part holding the table is hanging over the screw holes. and you cannot insert the screws properly. Mine didn't last long either, so I had to twist the crap out of them to tighten them (otherwise it's a super twitchy and rattling thing). As I said in the title, they're probably suitable for people using small headphones and a whiteboard instead of a table. But if you have some flourishes, accents or sides on your table, they won't fly.
