the colors were very beautiful, both blue and red. The red was more pink or purple. The material is thinner and not as thick as in previous years. (The quality was noticeably worse) I bought the gray one last year and it was soft, thick and well made. The newer ones were a full five inches shorter in length and two inches shorter in width. I was disappointed and sent them back as they were going to be a gift. It's a shame, I actually wanted to keep it, but the quality just wasn't there.
