Material could not be loaded. We have a small sewing machine that we sometimes use to hem pants or do mini projects. We don't like leaving it out in plain view, so taking it out and putting it away after each use is very inconvenient. The reason we wanted this folding sewing table is because it folds down into a cart on wheels no bigger than a small 24" x 16" filing cabinet so it doesn't take up a lot of space that we don't have . When we need to use the sewing machine, we can simply fold it up for an extra flat surface to sew and lay down fabrics measuring 47" x 16" when folded, which is also not too bulky. It requires assembly and there are many parts which can be intimidating but don't despair as all the parts and equipment are beautifully labeled and the instructions have text and illustrations that are very helpful and easy to use. These instructions were actually some of the best I've come across. It took over an hour to assemble myself not because it was difficult but simply because it has so many parts and steps. A screwdriver is included, but I recommend using an electric drill for efficiency and time savings. The nice thing is that there's a small storage compartment underneath for our little sewing machine, so it's discreetly hidden and easily accessible. There are also three (3) hidden side shelves for storing accessories like thread, yarn, scissors, tape measure, etc. which is very convenient. It comes with wheels so it can be moved around easily, but the wheels are plastic so I feel they don't roll as well as other metal wheels. Wheels could be stronger and better. Three (3) wheels have brakes that you can adjust to prevent unexpected rolling. Overall this sewing table has a brilliant design and I love the white color as it goes well with our decor and brightens the room. Wheels could be stronger and better.
