Removable lid does NOT stay in place during use

Not sure how it got such good reviews. The quality makes a good impression and is pleasantly soft. HOWEVER, putting the lid on was a HUGE CHALLENGE, requiring multiple attempts! The first two steps were easy, but trying to turn everything upside down was causing an unbearable headache! But what frustrates me is that no matter how expensive this quilt set is, the quilt insert will NOT stay in place. I don't toss or turn, so pulling the comforter up and down (getting in and out of bed) shouldn't be enough for the COMFORTER TO GET OUT OF THE COVER. The idea of a removable linen cover sounds great, but to be honest, I'd rather just wash the entire duvet (like an integrated one that doesn't have a removable cover) and then let it air out. Drying it out would be less of a hassle than a duvet cover that won't stay in place and the frustration of having to put the cover back on every time. Unfortunately I chose to wash the cover before using the duvet, so I doubt I can return it now. If the lid stayed in place I would be very happy with it and otherwise give it a five star rating but the fact that it doesn't stay in place makes this a disappointing purchase. Considering the price, I had much higher expectations. (Edited to add: I don't know how the other reviewer boasted about the length of the ties, and their photo showed a neatly tight bow. The ties on my covers are barely 5.5 inches long. I can't tie a tight bow as there is no ponytail that ends in sweat its just knotted not that the longer ties make a difference because the loops/ties are too far apart leaving the liner and lid out of place stay. Doesn't make it worse fighting it every night. Had I known this would be a problem I would have bought a much cheaper one with a sewn on cover). (I'd love to add a few pics, but Revane is asking for permission to access all my pics. Hmm, no!).
