Great Idea Poorly Done

This is a great idea and my kids love it, but it's not very well done. I gave it to my daughter for her birthday on January 14th, today is January 21st and it already shows clear signs of wear. The white top layer is thin and wears out more with each use. There are areas where the rainbow is bright and clear even if it dries up after 1 week.
