There is oil left

When it arrived the bamboo lid was slightly split around the edge. Thought this design would solve the oil problem on other things. I'm confused by the classic design of lubricators: when you take the lid off, some oil is usually left on the part that contacts the lubricator and it lands on the counter. I was hoping that this design would solve this problem. But the oil still gets on the cap and makes it painful to remove. It also holds no more than a pack of oil. This is not a typical oil form stick so it takes a few extra seconds to fill. Not too many inconveniences but not resolved what I was hoping for. Overall it looks good with no cracks hence I'm giving it 3 stars but there is definitely room for improvement in the design.
