My tractor tires are filled with calcium chloride which ruins a regular tire gauge. I like the Milton brand for quality, accuracy, and easy cleaning. I've used many brands and these seem to last the longest. Neither of them will last for years, but if you clean them by dipping the end in a glass of water and pulling out the plunger each time, it will last a lot longer. Calcium chloride is just salt water which is extremely corrosive. You're now using beetroot juice, which is non-caustic but sticky, and the meter still needs cleaning if you want it to last long. These gauges are for tractors and using them on car or truck tires is very annoying as the piston will spring back when not connected to air pressure and will not hold a reading like car gauges. Good choice for tractor tires.
