These coasters are perfect for drying my wet beauty blenders. They're also cute and don't take up much space, so they're perfect for my countertop. Before I got them I used the cheap plastic container that comes with the sponge to dry it as instructed. (I'm new to makeup!) However, since the top of the container was flat, I feel like the bottom of my beauty blender can never dry at the same rate as the rest of the egg, which would scare me that mold is growing in my blender. These egg coasters help the blender dry evenly all around. This is more effective than some silicone cases when it comes to letting the sponge dry out as you still run the risk of the egg in silicone cases laying sideways/flat against something and the holes in the silicone case don't allow for the same smooth airflow as these egg cup.
