Review on Bosch Evolution 4822 Wiper Blade by Justin Garcia

Bought Evolutions to replace the Rain-X Latitude wiper kit and am very satisfied. I have a 1997 Deville and it has a pin holder - I originally ordered a pair of Bosch Icons thinking they were the best BUT they will not work with a pin holder. My car is 22 inches long and my mom's 04 Suburban is 22 inches too, so I gave her an icon (she loves them by the way). If anyone knows if Bosch Icons can work with a pin connection please leave a comment - I either didn't have an adapter or I'm an idiot and couldn't figure it out. The Revain product selector and automotive search section said the Bosch icon would fit my brother's 04 Grand Marquis, but it's the same pin style as mine and they don't fit (= my mom has a spares kit now, lol). . He also bought a pair of Evolution wipers and loves them. Since I've tried the Rain-X Latitude wipers (twice - thought the second pair might be better than the first) and didn't like them, I figured I'd "settle" for the next level Bosch wiper . . They're working great so far. They are quiet and clean the windshield very well. The Rain-X worked well initially, but soon left small (very annoying) streaks. Then after a while they started making noises/stuttering on the windshield (unless there was tons of water). I don't think Bosch is going down anytime soon, BUT will be releasing an update in a month or two so you know if they're still working well. Also, I was watching a TV show (a production show, not a Bosch commercial) and for part of the show they were demonstrating Bosch wiper blades (I think they were demonstrating Icon blades). Anyhow, they detailed the research and testing that Bosch did on the wipers. I couldn't believe the amount of time/dollars/energy that went into making sure the wipers were durable, quiet and streak free. I hope they continue to work well. PS People with cars that have a very different windshield than mine might like the Rain-X windshields. her).
