Review on Reversible Mats 159125 Outdoor Camping by Matt Watson

RV cleaner - priceless!

For years my husband has complained about the old, worn industrial rubber mats we use on the outside of our RV. They looked bad but helped reduce the amount of junk that went into our RV. So I've been looking for a large rug to replace them for a long time. I was EXTREMELY skeptical when I saw what this rug was made of, but the positive reviews made me take a chance. We've been on our first outing with this reversible blanket for a week now and I'm amazed at the difference in manufacturing. We have a retractable camper with a 6ft awning with poles that need to be attached to the base so 9x12 is too big. This wasn't a problem as I only left the rug a third folded and made it 6x12. The result was a dramatic improvement in the amount of dirt NOT getting into the RV. After 6 days I swept the floor for the first time and got some of that dirt we normally endure in a day. It's also great to be able to get out of the camper barefoot and stay clean. The carpet is easily swept away; Water flows through and does not accumulate. We use it on a hard, flat surface so our table and kitchen cabinet legs don't damage the carpet at all. The tote bag is a little tight, but big enough to fit inside. Very light weight. If we take care of it, I expect it to last long enough to justify a reasonable cost. It's more brown and beige than burgundy. I'm more interested in its functionality than color customization. Our little setup would never make the cover of Fashionable Camping Magazine anyway, so I'm fine with that. In general, the purchase is satisfied.
