Economical Blue Light Blocker

This product blocks some blue-violet light. After adjusting the retainer (finger pressure is enough), the Viscare clips stay on my glasses. When I take off my glasses with the Viscare clips attached and put them on the table, I have to quickly center the clips before putting them back on to continue working on the computer. Of course, this product isn't as comfortable to use as prescription lenses with a blue-violet filter built into the lens coating, but Viscare is worth a fraction of the cost of prescription lenses. Since I've found the filter to be effective at removing a certain percentage of the blue-violet light, I use Viscare clips on my glasses when I'm at the computer (the large monitor is about 37 inches from where I'm seated). . I wear Cyxus glasses. to work with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet which, unlike an Apple tablet of the same age, does not have a built-in blue filter option. In the Viscare literature, a transfer curve in the blue-violet range is reported for the Viscare clamp. or at least what percentage of blue-violet light is blocked from reaching the retina of the human eye. You may be wondering why this information is important. I was shown that exposure to blue-violet light contributes to the early onset of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a serious and worsening problem worldwide. If left untreated, it can lead to the inability to drive, watch TV, etc. If you are interested in this topic, read "The Benefits and Dangers of Blue Lightโ€ and related articles on the internet:
