The first number is the width, the second is the height, and the third is the depth.
I have not always assembled them but the test fit is spot on with one exception. The side wall brackets are too tight with the brown cover. No problem without a lid. I love the loops as they are adjusted daily for perfect alignment. Plus "Silent close" is great. The exit seems hard. I go to laundry so I think they get more use and abuse than kitchen cabinets that cost three times as much. I'll tell you about it later, but it's worth it compared to the big stores.
