Works fine but I don't use aux. power connection.

This little man works great as a USB hub and card reader, but there's a problem with the auxiliary power port on the back: I wanted to see if I could plug the device into the auxiliary port while my computer was off . I turned off the computer and plugged my phone charger into the auxiliary port, but immediately heard a strange buzzing noise. I turned off the power and the noise stopped. After plugging it back in, I followed the noise and realized it was the fan on my PC's PSU spinning gently. This thing routes power from the Aux port back to the USB port on the PC. That's bad, woo-ju! Do not use an additional port!
