Review on πŸš— MbuyDIY LED License Plate Light Lamp Assembly for 2015-2020 F150 and 17-20 Raptor - Clear Lens, 6000K White, Pack of 2 by Mark Green

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Must be waterproof with e-silicone

I installed them on my F-150 STX Supercrew. I chose tinted lenses over clear because some reviewers claimed they were so bright they interfered with their rear camera. I have read the reviews of this seller and other sellers on Revain. There seems to be one main manufacturer of flashlights, but the companies that sell them label the flashlights with their name. They are very easy to install. They are lighter than regular ones, but not too much. They don't give off a super bright glow. Instead, the brightness is reduced to an acceptable level. On a physical comparison scale of 1 to 10, OEM vs. aftermarket license plate lights, I'll give the physical aspect of aftermarket lights an 8. Here's why: They're supposed to be waterproof; You are not. You will need to apply dielectric grease to the exposed circuit board or electronic silicone. I've used dielectric lamp lube, but electronics silicone works best. Otherwise, your lights will really go out in a short time. Rain, snow and humidity in the air will definitely shorten the lifespan of your flashlights. License plate lights are inexpensive compared to other options. I think this is a good product and will last as long as the light board is protected. I would like to leave other ratings for the manufacturer or seller of this product. Overall I think the product represents value compared to other more expensive options.
