Enter 2 keys to get something?

Well, I've been involved with Microsoft ergonomic keyboards since the late 1990's - almost 20 years I think. They were generally very comfortable keyboards that just "felt" right and were therefore very easy to use. This particular keyboard follows that tradition on a physical level. My hands are relaxed while typing and everything is fine. Unfortunately, the "Wireless" function does not work properly. Very often the first character entered is ignored. This is especially painful when the first keypress is a ctrl or alt key combination, which means selecting something else and replacing it with the ctrl/alt combination character instead of executing the escape sequence. On a simpler level, renaming files with F2 or refreshing the Firefox or Chrome browser with F5 doesn't work either, as keystrokes are only sometimes ignored. Somehow Microsoft lost track. You can't blame the operating system for that - they own it too. Maybe HW without MS is better now. I do not know. I'm sticking with wired HW (not MS) for now and will find out for myself. In the meantime, I would recommend that you stay away from Microsoft keyboards.
