Literally no difference in how the hair color I used covered the gray and didn't prolong the fading. Oh well. My hair color (color in the bottle after mixing) turned orange and I freaked out. I took a chance and used it anyway and it doesn't actually turn your hair orange. Just in case you try and he does the same. In general, he didn't do anything special, but he didn't do anything bad to his hair either.
