Great device especially if you just want LEDs to work without messing around with Arduino or Raspberry Pi. It works perfectly when connected directly to the light bar. I tested the app on Android - setting up Bluetooth is easy, but to get the settings right you may need to look beyond the user guide. The application requires 3 settings: (1) the number of pixels in the strip is the simplest; (2) Select the tape type you have - ws2811, ws2812B, ws2801 and some others BUT NOTE that while the application supports ws2812B, this option is not offered in the selection options. Just select ws2811 and it will work. (3) Select the R/G/B channel order next to Tape Type. I was wondering why my colors didn't come out right - I needed GRB, not RGB. Lots of templates, lots of fun!
