Review on Tightpac America, Inc. Tightvac - Airtight Multi-Use Container for 1 oz to 6 oz Products by Casey Estrada

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Cheap plastic and leaking

Cheap plastic on cheap plastic is used for the seal. It doesn't let any air through at all. I'm a physicist and engineer so don't fool me and I hope I can help some people with this review. They have a button to let the air out when you close the container which gives the impression that there is some kind of vacuum when you pull the lid when it's open and the air can't get in very quickly so that she can't escape. However, low pressure will easily dislodge the cap over time, showing that air can enter easily (albeit slowly enough that the cap doesn't pop off on its own). I need something airtight for my herbs and I think this container doesn't work that well. as a zip pocket. Misleading Marketing and Product. Probably good ratings because most people trust them but have trouble understanding what an airtight vacuum is.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
